Hi, I'm Rahel. I'm a Software Engineering graduate with high distinction, with minors in Computer Science and Physics. My background spans AI, data science, and full stack development. Over the last two years, I've taken on a variety of software development contracts. At the City of Ottawa, I worked in data analytics, built and sold a data wrangling pipeline that saved a huge amount of time, and contributed to academic research by creating visualizations focused on equity and diversity metrics. I have also won seven AI hackathons, including ones hosted by Cohere, IBM, and AI21 Labs. Before that, I worked at an AI startup as a full stack developer from early-stage development to launch.

I love staying active with rock climbing, Spartan races, running, rec volleyball, and dodgeball. I also enjoy watching Old School RuneScape, League of Legends, Anime, British shows like Taskmaster and WILTY, the Science VS podcast, and mystery shows. On the tech side, I’m interested in machine learning, simulations, video gaming, and how generative AI can transform the gaming experience.

Ahmed Baysuyev is a med school dropout turned AI founder and Advisor. He started his journey working at a tech startup @ Invest Ottawa and later started and exited his own AI Automation Agency, where he was crafting custom voice agents and chatbots for service based businesses! His educational background includes studies at the University of Oxford and Carleton University, focusing on Medicine and Biology with a minor in Neuroscience. He loves the brain and the unknown aspects of its true potential, he plans to innovate the way humans understand and utilize the brains power by integrating AI and creating world renowned solutions.

I have a venture that I'm working on with CHEO's core innovation, essentially it is a multilingual AI co-pilot for nurses that allows for real-time conversation translation and then transcription for automated charting and medical notes. We are still in MVP stage and open for investors as well as mentors to help guide this innovation of healthtech in Canada!

I’m interested in modular AI systems, human-centered product design, and tools that help founders validate ideas quickly. Currently, I’m building Startup Validator, an AI platform that evaluates startup ideas and provides actionable feedback. I’m also tinkering with a portable AI companion device, modular critical thinking engines (CTOS), and minimalist apps for mental health and daily tracking.
